Jetlyn’s fee for a 50-minute consultation is $260.
The Australian Psychological Society publishes a recommended schedule of fees for psychologists providing private psychology services. Fees are guided by but are not directly aligned with the 2025-2026 Recommended Schedule of Fees, which recommends a fee of $318 for a 46 - 60 minute consultation.
Please note that report writing and support letters may attract an additional fee.
Rebates
If your GP referred you under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), you are eligible to claim a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebate for an appointment with a clinical psychologist for sessions lasting at least 50 minutes is $145.25. You must provide a copy of your referral and MHTP prior to or at your initial appointment.
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to access rebates for psychology. Please contact your insurance provider to check your eligibility.
Payments
Fees are payable at the end of your appointment unless prior arrangement has been made for a third party to cover the cost of sessions. Payment for face-to-face appointments can be made via EFTPOS or credit card. If eligible, Medicare and some private health insurance claims can be processed automatically for you following processing of payment. If you wish to claim rebates manually you will be provided with a paid invoice once payment has been received.
For telehealth appointments payment can be made either by:
Direct deposit
An invoice will be sent to you at the end of your session with bank details for payment. Payment is required on the day of your appointment.
Credit card
Payment will be processed through Jetlyn’s practice management software. Please note for credit card payments there is a processing fee (1.9% + $1).
Cancellation Fees
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment please provide as much notice as possible. Your appointment time has been reserved specifically for you, and usually cannot be refilled at short notice.
For appointments cancelled less than 1 business day (24 hours) before the scheduled appointment time, 100% of the appointment fee may be charged. For appointments cancelled less than 2 business days (48 hours) before the scheduled appointment time, 50% of the appointment fee may be charged.
Please note Medicare rebates cannot be claimed for cancelled appointments.
