Jetlyn Payne is a Clinical Psychologist based in Canberra, Australia.
Jetlyn has experience working in both the public and private sector, with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Jetlyn enjoys supporting adults and young people (16 and over) for a range of presentations, but has a particular interest in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma related issues.
Jetlyn is passionate about guiding and supporting clients in therapy to uncover what may be driving their thoughts and behaviours, learn strategies to approach situations differently and facilitate personal growth.
Jetlyn takes a trauma-informed, person-centred approach to therapy where treatment is tailored to the needs of each client. Jetlyn employs evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing.
Jetlyn is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), and also holds PsyBA Area of Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
